Exploring LAlaland.

After finally moving all of my stuff into my new apartment my parents and I decided we needed to explore more of LA! Even though we did not know much about what to do in LA we managed to plan a whole day of sightseeing together.

Our first stop was to go to the Broad Museum  located on South Grand Avenue, just a little outside of downtown. At the Broad, admission is free to all guest and you can either pre-order tickets online or wait in the standby line which was only an hour wait while we were there. If you’re not in the mood to wait trust me it is worth it to go into the Broad! Once we entered we went upstairs to check out the art exhibits and we got to see so many interesting and colorful pieces throughout the building!

Once I saw these colorful balloon pieces I  was so excited to walk around the museum! Every exhibit you walked into had different colors of art, meaning, and character which I am personally fascinated by! (And if you want to see more pictures of the exhibits I will post a few on my insta @slo_2_la)

With some of these pieces I could not imagine how long they took to paint!

And this neon light sign was my favorite piece in the Broad. The lights would flicker from the top to the bottom then instantly flash with America in a bright yellow color, as you can see from above. I would love to have a sign like this in my apartment!😍

After we left the Broad it has always been a dream of mine to go to the Griffith Observatory. When I was younger, we would always pass by it on the freeway and every time I would say can we go see it? And finally I did!!!

At the Griffith Observatory it was PACKED! We had to park so far down below the place then hike up their hill with all the other tourists wanting to visit, but it was definitely worth it! Once we got to the top I could not believe the views of Los Angeles! Everywhere you turned the city got more beautiful and I was shocked! And luckily for us we stayed until sunset and it was AMAZING! Once you see a city that high up during sunset, I don’t think you will ever be able to forget what that sunset looked like. The sky changed from its sky blue color, to cotton candy pink and purple to its rays of orange sneaking through. I was truly in love with Los Angeles at this point.

Of course since I love fashion here is my OOTD for exploring LAlaland!

Also, a new addition I would like to add to my blog post are Snapchats taken throughout the day! So here are the ones I took while out in the city!

I hope you guys enjoy this fun blog post about my adventure in Los Angeles! Comment any other fun activities you can think of that I should look for in LA!

With love, Sydney
