Santa Barbara Day Trip.

Every few months my mom and I set aside a day where we go to Santa Barbara together and shop around on State Street, try out new restaurants, and explore the town since we don’t go down often. The day we were there the weather in Santa Barbara was beautiful and we knew we picked the perfect day to come! Here’s the rundown of our day there:

11:30am: Shopped at Nordstrom, Forever 21, LF, Marshall’s, and Brighton.

Top: Forever 21| Purse: Forever 21 (Similar)| Shoes: Forever 21|

Sunglasses: Nordstrom (Not online yet, but these are similar)| Jeans: Delias

2:00pm: We then decided to head to lunch at a Mexican Restaurant called Los Agaves and let me just say that food was amazing! My mom and I both ordered their taco salad with a side of rice and there was no complaints on how good it tasted. So if you’re in the SB area I recommend trying this restaurant, it’s about a 10 minute drive from State Street.

3:00pm: After lunch we decided to head over to East Beach to see the Rainbow Chromatic Gate and to take a nice walk along the shoreline. As we were walking we saw a wedding party taking pictures and cruise ship docked by the pier, it was such a beautiful day to be out and about.

4:00pm: Once we were done walking around East Beach we wanted to treat ourselves to ice cream (because like why not?!) and went to Rori’s Artisanal Creamery in Montecito. Rori’s is a cute little ice cream shop that was also packed when we arrived. I had gotten the NY Strawberry Cheesecake and my mom had gotten the Milk Chocolate Chunk and they were to die for! We both were very happy with our decisions and decided it was time to head home.

Until next time Santa Barbara!

With love, Sydney
